China steel futures close higher

SHANGHAI - Steel futures closed higher Tuesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.

The most active construction steel rebar contract for October 2020 delivery was up 27 yuan ($3.89) to close at 3,848 yuan a ton.

The most active October 2020 contract for hot rolled coils, mainly used in cars and appliances, was up 41 yuan to close at 3,984 yuan a ton.
